This position is for an experienced 360 Recruitment Consultant working in our Manchester office, focusing on contract recruitment across Technology. As an experienced 360 Recruiter, you will be proactively winning new business and building candidate prospects with the support of Oliver James reputable name across the industry.

About The Role

As a Contract Recruiter, your responsibilities will be:

  • Proactively headhunting candidates/contractors and developing an map of who is active in the market. It will be expected that you have a core list of contractors you are regularly meeting, placing and gaining commercial information from.
  • Experience selling contract recruitment solutions.
  • Establishing new business relationships through cold calling, client meetings, flipping senior headhunts.
  • Meeting senior headhunts face to face, on a regular basis
  • Building a profitable desk specifically in your chosen sector, working closely with the existing team, sharing information and contacts, and taking advantage of our extensive existing client base.
  • Defining client requirements whilst mapping out the organisational structure, the culture and client's annual growth plans
  • Networking with candidates and clients both over the phone and face to face, organising networking events and client presentations
  • Negotiating commercial terms with FTSE 150 companies, understanding the implication of the PSL for both permanent and contract hires
  • Cross selling other disciplines and incorporating other business areas into the relationships cultivated
  • Adding contacts to the database to map out potential new clients
  • Working to a day plan and managing your time effectively
  • Managing interview processes through to offer
  • Meeting your monthly financial target, if not ensuring your quarterly target is met across the 3 month period.
  • Collaborating with peers on sharing candidates/contractors, commercial information and in building out your vertical as a team on the database

About You

  • As an experienced Recruiter you will be able to demonstrate that you are a proven business developer and networker
  • We are looking for confident, bright, and resilient individuals who thrive in a competitive environment which is challenging yet rewarding
  • You must thrive under pressure and be goal driven
  • You will have 12-18 months + of experience in a 360, contract/Perm recruitment role
  • A solid business mind and the gravitas to challenge prospective customers
  • You will have excellent communication skills, an impressive presence and demonstrate the ability to build long term business relationships
  • You must display ambition and a track record of high achievement either in or out of work
