This is a new and exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about L&D and recruitment to come in and disrupt the current status-quo of our future leaders in the industry! Reporting directly into the Learning & Development Director, Your main focus will be to deliver business growth by managing teams of new entrants into the recruitment industry. Work individually and in collaboration with other departments to attract, onboard and progress individuals into a long-term career with OJ Group.

Job description:

  • Manage teams of new starters for c. first 8-12 weeks of employment
  • Conduct education and training in line with the OJ way
  • Demonstrate recruitment practices with team
  • Manage team to deliver additional new hires to the business
  • Manage team to deliver BD and HH opportunities to wider business
  • Conduct interviews and assessments on prospective hires
  • Deliver assessment days and attraction events with prospective hires
  • Create and promote referral systems within division(s)
  • Maintain and promote employer branding and EVP though online channels
  • Proactively attract new hires to the team through advertising channels
  • Liaise with P+P on additional learning interventions
  • Liaise with local universities/work programmes to attract new hires
  • Manage accreditations with third party institutions to secure interns
  • Deliver rec2rec 'open days' to promote business
  • Effectively promote and role model the OJ charter
  • Manage 'handover' to internal roles including individual and group mentoring
  • Secure external placements for team members who do not secure internal roles
  • Personally manage pipeline of senior individuals in local market

Key outcomes:

  • Academy retention and promotion percentage
  • Divisional headcount target
  • Divisional referral and internal interview targets
  • Project based recruitment metrics in aligned teams
  • Billing performance in aligned teams
  • Onboarding experience and engagement scores

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Experience in a similar graduate focused new sales team management position
  • 3-5 years' experience in recruitment and/or recruitment L+D
  • Talent attraction and marketing experience
  • Experience in Salesforce would be beneficial
  • Flexibility to work predominantly in the office and some non-core hours
