This position is for Talent Acquisition Partner working as part of a Global People Team, based in our NYC office. You will be responsible for the proactive attraction of experienced recruiters into the business and spearheading group hiring initiatives and strategies, partnering regularly with senior stakeholders. This role acts as an integral facilitator of business growth; ensuring a constant influx of the best talent within the recruitment industry.
Talent Acquisition Partner - USA
Job description:
- Work in conjunction with leadership teams to align hiring strategy to source talent against business needs and priorities
- Proactively headhunting for experienced recruiters within Oliver James' specific markets
- Pipelining talent in line with future hiring needs
- Managing candidates of all levels through the hiring process from initial conversation through to onboarding and aftercare
- Managing R2R applications and processes
- Conducting 1st stage interviews for the office
- Constantly promoting the Oliver James brand within the industry
- CRM management and data tracking/reporting
- Supporting candidates through the recruitment process providing them timely and constructive feedback
- Liaising regularly with hiring managers and Directors regarding candidates in process
- Tracking successful hires within the OJ group and interviewing to create content to use with prospective hires
- Working in conjunction with Human Resources to ensure contracts are issued in a timely manner and internal stakeholders and candidates expectations are managed on timescales
- Responsible for multi-channel advertising of all roles within the OJ Group (Website, social media, LinkedIn)
- Driving the internal referral programme, promoting this with all new hires and managing referred candidates through the selection process
- Creating job descriptions in line with company standards
- Working closely with the marketing department on talent attraction initiatives
- Assisting academy managers on sourcing/pipelining for new intakes
- Responsible for the smooth onboarding of candidates working alongside other departments
- Aftercare of new recruits within their first week/month & quarter
Desired Skills & Experience:
- A strong knowledge of recruitment, recruitment practices and associated skills
- A track record of high achievement in previous roles
- Adept at selling the Oliver James Group and exceptional knowledge of the R2R market
- A strong track record of placing experienced, high performing recruiters into the Oliver James Group from competitor businesses
- Previous experience market mapping from competitor businesses and pipelining talent in line with future company hires
- Engaging, positive and enthusiastic approach to work
- Efficient organizational, planning and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills, able to build rapport & long term business relationships
- Exceptional interpersonal skills, displaying a high level of diplomacy, confidentiality and professionalism
- The ability to be a team player and capable of operating autonomously
- A confident and proactive approach
- An innate desire to be successful and commit to the role requirements
